Meet Clamptons Shear, a district waiting on modern exploration
Clamptons Shear stands ready for systematic exploration in a 30-kilometre mineralised corridor. Recent drilling confirms what the ground has always held.
Foundation
What the ground has shown
Clamptons Shear is a 30-kilometre mineralised corridor consolidated under a single, disciplined operator.
30 km
Mineralised strike length
6 g/t
Historical production grade
2.7 km
Untested gold-in-soil anomaly
Pending
Maiden drill programme
Expansion
Unlocking a corridor never properly tested
Fragmented ownership once constrained exploration across Clamptons Shear. Normandy Minerals’ consolidation changed that. Now systematic testing along strike and at depth reveals what was always hidden by reconnaissance-only work. It is geology waiting to be found.
Depth
Testing down-dip and along-strike extensions
Historical mining at Clamptons Central went to just 30 metres depth. Pits closed for operational reasons, not because the gold ran out. What lies beneath the water table and along strike remains largely untested by modern methods. Recent RC drilling has returned 16m at 3.1 g/t Au, with mineralisation open at depth.
Extension
Andromeda, the next growth frontier
Multiple tenements consolidated into one coherent exploration corridor. The Andromeda trend remains largely untested by modern drilling, yet historic intercepts and a 2.7-kilometre gold-in-soil anomaly suggest significant upside. Gold-bearing structures persist across a structurally focused belt tied to the regional shear zone.
- Multiple tenements unified
- Shallow high-grade hits
- Untested at depth
Snapshot
The asset in detail
A consolidated 30-kilometre corridor with brownfield production credentials and major undrilled exploration upside.
Mt Jackson Project, Western Australia
Heart of an underexplored greenstone corridor with district-scale potential.
Historic production at 6 g/t Au
Toll-treated at Paddingtons with 92.7% recovery; pit closed at 30 metres.
Tenure consolidated under one operator
Decades of fragmented ownership unified for systematic modern exploration.
Best intercepts 16m at 3.1 g/t Au
Recent RC drilling confirms open mineralisation with room to expand.
1990 s
Open pit operation
Clamptons Central mined 1994–97 at 6 g/t Au with 92.7% recovery via toll-treatment. Pit closure was operational, not geological.
2000 s
Reconnaissance phase
Auger and RAB geochemistry mapped parallel structural trends and gold-in-soil anomalies, including Andromeda’s 2.7-kilometre signature, but never at depth.
2010 - 2026
Dormant decade
No active work for a decade. Mineralisation remained open in the pit walls, at depth, and across satellite prospects untested by modern methods.
2026
Normandy Mineral Consolidation
Fragmented tenements unified under a single operator. Modern systematic exploration begins along the 30-kilometre Clamptons Shear structure.
